I have an extensive work experience in the mortgage industry, starting from my time as an employee at Citizens & Southern National Bank back in 1990. As fate would have it, the bank merged with C & S/Sovran Corp, which later joined forces with NCNB to form NationBank. Eventually, in 1998, the institution transformed into what we now know as Bank of America. Amidst these transitions, I was among the fifty dedicated employees who remained onboard and found myself working diligently in the mortgage processing center.Throughout my tenure, I had the opportunity to delve into various positions and departments within the company. From post-closing/shipping and auditing to closing and processing, I gained a comprehensive understanding of the inner workings of mortgage operations. However, my journey didn't end there. In the middle of 1998, I made the decision to explore new horizons and took up an underwriting position at Norwest Mortgage, which later merged with Wells Fargo, a well-established name in the industry. At Wells Fargo, I specialized in processing and underwriting conventional loan programs, progressing to become a trusted DE and VA underwriter.Over the years, I've acquired a wealth of experience working at prominent institutions like Countrywide Home Loans, Homestar Financial Corp, and even returned to Bank of America for a stint in underwriting. My most recent position involved underwriting at Bank of America, which concluded in September of 2022. It was at that point I decided to embrace a new path as a mortgage broker.In January of 2023, I established Watson Mortgage Services, LLC, located in Suwanee, GA. Collaborating with a range of wholesale lenders, I am dedicated to finding the best loan program tailored to each client's specific needs. Whether it's Conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, or DSCR loan programs, I possess the expertise to navigate the options and provide exceptional customer service, regardless of the loan amount, be it $50,000 or $500,000.My primary goal is to assist every client in securing the ideal loan program for their individual circumstances. With a profound passion for working with first-time homebuyers and self-employed applicants, I am committed to making the home-buying process as seamless as possible. By offering competitive interest rates and drawing upon my extensive knowledge of the mortgage industry, I strive to ensure that each client receives the best loan solution available.
